Heidi Strohmaier, Ph.D., LP

Heidi Strohmaier, Ph.D., LP, obtained her Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a forensic concentration at Drexel University. She has worked in prisons, medical centers, and private practices. She taught and supervised postdoctoral psychology trainees and medical residents at Hennepin County Medical Center for several years before opening EnCompass Psychological Services in 2020. At EnCompass, she provides psychotherapy and conducts psycho-legal evaluations for various civil, criminal, and occupational contexts. She is a member of MPA’s Forensic Division, serves on MPA’s Ethics Committee, and is active in the American Psychology-Law Society. Her forensic research has been featured in national media outlets including The Washington Post and Time magazine. She is a frequent guest lecturer at local universities and has more than 20 peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
